Ο Ρόρι Γκάλαχερ (1948-1995) υπήρξε ένας από τους σπουδαιότερους μουσικούς του μπλουζ-ροκ. Μέγας δεξιοτέχνης της ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας με πολλούς και πιστούς θαυμαστές και στη χώρα μας. Δεν ήταν τυχαίο, ότι 40.000 ροκάδες βρέθηκαν στις 12 Σεπτεμβρίου 1981 στο γήπεδο της Νέας Φιλαδέλφειας για να ακούσουν τον ιρλανδό ρόκερ και να δουν από κοντά τη «Στρατοκάστερ» του να πιάνει φωτιά. Ήταν μία από τις πρώτες ροκ συναυλίες στη χώρας μας, η οποία συνοδεύτηκε από σοβαρά επεισόδια...... Την επόμενη μέρα, οι εφημερίδες κυκλοφόρησαν με πρωτοσέλιδα όπως «Κάηκε η Νέα Φιλαδέλφεια από τους ροκάδες». Η συναυλία αργότερα κυκλοφόρησε σε πειρατική έκδοση με τίτλο Live in Athens 1981.
Ο Μοχάντας Καραμτσάντ Γκάντι (όπως ήταν το πραγματικό του όνομα) ήταν Ινδός πολιτικός, στοχαστής και επαναστάτης. Υπήρξε η κεντρική μορφή του εθνικού κινήματος για την ινδική ανεξαρτησία από τους Βρετανούς και εμπνευστής της μεθόδου παθητικής αντίστασης, χωρίς χρήση βίας, εναντίον των καταπιεστών. Η διδασκαλία του επηρέασε το διεθνές κίνημα για την ειρήνη και μαζί με τον ασκητικό βίο του συνέτειναν στο να καθιερωθεί σαν ένα από τα παγκόσμια σύμβολα του 20ου αιώνα. Απέκτησε την προσωνυμία Μαχάτμα, που φέρεται να του απέδωσε στα 1915 ο Ινδός νομπελίστας ποιητής Ταγκόρ και που στα σανσκριτικά σημαίνει "μεγαλόψυχος". Δολοφονήθηκε το 1947 από ένα φανατικό ινδουιστή, λίγο μετά την απελευθέρωση της χώρας
