Μέρα και νύχτα πάντα
ονειρεύομαι με μάτια ανοιχτά...

Και πάνω από τα αφρισμένα κύματα,
της απέραντης αγριεμένης θάλασσας,
Και πάνω από την άμμο της ερήμου
που στροβιλίζεται...
Κι όταν χαρούμενα ιππεύω τον απαλό λαιμό
ενός άγριου λέοντα,
Κυρίαρχος της καρδιάς μου,
Βλέπω πάντα ένα μικρό παιδί να επιπλέει
και να μου φωνάζει!

Γόνιμη Γη

Συνάντησα ανθρώπους
που έλεγαν πως δεν υπάρχεις
πως είσαι πλάσμα της φαντασίας
και κατοικείς μες στο μυαλό μου

Για να πιστέψω πως γεννήθηκες
ξεκίνησα να γελώ
για να πεισθώ ότι σε συναντώ
σ’ αγκάλιαζα τις νύχτες

Σ’ αγάπησα πριν έρθεις.
Είχα μια αγκαλιά γεμάτη λουλούδια
πριν απλώσεις τα χέρια σου
κατοικούσε ο έρωτας στην καρδιά μου
πριν χαθώ στο βλέμμα σου

Είχα γόνιμη γη.
Ο ήλιος κι η βροχή μου
σε γέννησαν.
